This lively restaurant offers delectable wholesome cuisine at reasonable prices. The house specialties are traditional pizzas but you’ll also want to try fresh pastas, big salads and delectable deserts. Fully licensed. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Tangled Garden was established in December 1994 when Frank and Dimitrios Kotsovolos bought the former “DEL’S Restaurant” in an auction. Frank and Dimitrios grew up in neighbouring Perth where they attended Perth and District Collegiate, where Frank currently teaches now.

Frank and Demi’s parents owned Perth Restaurant from 1966 to 1998. That is where Frank and Demi gained the valuable experience needed to open a restaurant.

On April 3, 1995, after months of renovations and alterations, the Tangled Garden Cafe opened it’s doors.
After 4 fairly good years, the Tangled Garden went through a major change when it built an addition, increasing it’s seating capacity from 34 to 62. During this renovation the kitchen and stoage area doubled in size to better serve it’s customers and make it more comfortable for the staff.

In 2006, Dimitrios left the Tangled Garden in Westport to open the Limestone Garden Grill in Kingston, where he continued the success he has had in the restaurant business. Frank and his wife Anna continued to own the TGC in Westport and owned it for4 years on their own.

In July 2009, Frank and Anna took on a new partner: Steve Biscaro.  Steve, a resident of Westport and former Westport Rideau, had worked at the TGC for several years before becoming a shareholder/vice-president in the company. The three continue to bring Westport and it’s visitors a great place to eat.

In the summer of 2010, the Tangled Garden added a 20 Seat Patio.
